Model Testing & Portfolios

Several times each week we receive phone calls about shooting portfolios for aspiring models and actors.  While we don’t claim to know everything there is to know about modeling agencies, we have had a good deal of experience working with some of the best agencies in Atlanta.  (Babes n Beaus, Elite, etc.) 

Most people assume the agencies want to see a large portfolio of images, but this is not true in the early stages. The best and most economical way to get started is to shoot for a single great headshot and full body shot.  These are then submitted to perspective agencies where they can decide if they would like to represent you.  They will then direct you in the types of photographs you need based on your look, style, age, etc.  With their suggestions, you would then need to shoot in different settings and styles to build a comp card or start a portfolio.
